books that pop out that you can read or the ones that make sound and are about the alphabet
I got my 15 month old a baby’s first laptop so she can learn and be like mommy.
How about you start her a savings bond and invest in it from your paycheck every week?
well u can giv her those toys that has pics of animals and wen she touches it,it moo’s or bark or meow..ahaahaha my niece had fun with that toy
a talking toy that sais the alpahbets or numbers
leap frog that sings abc…kids love it, its a stuffed animal and it introduces the theme song that every child learns…
if you are looking to shop online, try http://www.fatbraintoys.com, they have nothing but educational toys and a place for american made toys only too.
Dora bus/riding toy.
Leapster products for her age group.
Something w/ buttons and noise!!!
A gift that teaches the alphabet or numbers
Maybe a walker for babies.
My nephew is that age… I got him a toy that makes sounds, and lights up. He loves things that he can put away too. He gets a kick outta it. =) Anything that will help her with her motor skills.
I got on http://www.amazon.com and checked for toys for the birth to 24 months set…here is the link…
just cut and copy into your address bar…they give great ideas..

The girl needs fun.
Get her a Furreal Pony, they’re great.
If you want her to learn anything, just plain old talk to her. She will learn. I did it with my cousin, he was talking perfectly at two, and he can count all the way up to fifty at three.
have you looked into the computer games at walmart there is this thing that you plug into the computer and it only lets them get onto the sights that they have the toy for like elmo barney blues clues ect and will not let them get anywhere else on the net or on your comuter for that matter my son loves going to noggin.com and i am thinking about getting him one of these also
My daughter is 22 months. At 18 months, she was really interested in ALL board books, and she also liked wooden blocks.
She also became interested in easy puzzles, and she really liked the little einstein picture flashcards. (you can get them on ebay usually a few different sets together cheap).
She also started getting really interested in certain soft stuffed animals, and tub toys became fun for her at that moment, as well.
Hope this helps. I am a big believer in books.
My daughter is 22 months and can count to 20 in english, to 10 in spanish, and can identify of those numbers and all letters of the alphabet by sight. She also knew all her colors at around 18 months, and could say them.
In no way I am recommending expensive toys….I got most of our books at the goodwill store, or on ebay.
You may not agree with me on this, but I let my daughter watch Dora, Blue’s Clues, and Little Einsteins, and she has learned SO much from those shows. I see them more educational than detrimental to my daughters intelligence (people say that TV is bad, but I don’t completely agree).
I don’t buy her toys related to those shows…I just buy the videos for her to WATCH. I am pretty anti-consumer when it comes to TV show toys, but to have the videos around is so handy and helpful.
